Questa è una rosa di mele, un dolce elegante e scenografico fatto con pasta sfoglia e fettine di mela disposte a forma di fiore. Ti spiego come realizzarla!

  • 0. Wash the apples thoroughly (do not peel them to preserve the red edge). Halve them, remove the core, and slice them very thinly (about 2 mm). Place them in a bowl with water and lemon juice, then microwave for 2-3 minutes to soften them. Drain and pat dry.
  • 1. Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into 6 strips, each about 5 cm long and wide. Mix the brown sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle each strip with it. Spread a thin layer of apricot jam on top.
  • 2. Arrange the apple slices on the top half of each strip, allowing them to hang slightly over the edge and overlapping. Fold the bottom half of the puff pastry over the apple base.
  • 3. Gently roll each strip into a rose shape and place in a lightly greased muffin tin.
  • 4. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 35-40 minutes, until golden and crispy. Let them cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar.
  • 5. Perfect for breakfast or as a refined dessert, perhaps accompanied by a scoop of vanilla ice cream! If you want to add an extra touch, try brushing them with a little honey fresh from the oven for an even shinier and more indulgent treat.
