Una frittata rustica e saporita, perfetta per un pasto leggero o una cena veloce. La verza dona dolcezza e consistenza, mentre la feta aggiunge un tocco sapido e cremoso. Una ricetta semplice e ricca di gusto, ideale anche per il meal prep.
Ingredients
- Savoy cabbage150 g
- Feta80 g
- Eggs5 u (300 g)
- Parmigiano Reggiano DOP2 tablespoons
- Extra virgin olive oil2 tablespoons
- Garlic1 clove
- Nutmegto taste
- Black pepperto taste
- Fine saltto taste
Procedure
0. In a nonstick pan, heat the oil and, if desired, add the garlic clove for flavor. Sauté the shredded cabbage for 5-7 minutes, until soft but still slightly crunchy. Discard the garlic.
1. In a bowl, beat the eggs with a fork. Add a pinch of salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Stir in the parmesan (if using) and crumbled feta.
2. Pour the beaten eggs into the pan with the cabbage. Distribute the ingredients evenly and cook over medium-low heat for 5-7 minutes, covered with a lid.
3. When the base is golden brown and the surface is still soft, turn the omelette over using a plate or lid and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
4. Transfer the frittata to a serving platter and let it cool for a few minutes. Serve in slices, accompanied by a fresh salad or whole-wheat bread.
5. You can garnish the frittata with fresh herbs like parsley or thyme. For a lighter version, bake the frittata at 180°C for 20-25 minutes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
