Ingredients
- Chicken thighs1 Kg
- Basmati rice300 g
- Carrots250 g
- Celery250 g
- Golden onion250 g
- Black pepperto taste
- Extra virgin olive oilto taste
- Turmericto taste
- Bouillon cubeto taste
- Fine saltto taste
Procedure
0. Dice the celery and carrots more or less finely depending on your preference.
1. Add the vegetables and a drizzle of oil to a nonstick pan. Then add the chicken thighs, making sure to place the skin-side down on the heat.
2. Let it brown for 10 minutes. Then add the black pepper, turmeric, salt, and granulated stock cube. Add a glass of water and let it cook over very low heat for 90 minutes.
3. Preparing the rice takes 20 minutes. To begin, you need to weigh and wash the rice.
4. We then proceed to prepare the broth by adding some granulated data to a saucepan and bringing to the boil.
5. The rice is then placed in a nonstick pan and seasoned with a pinch of salt. After toasting for a minute and a half, broth can be added until it reaches the level of the rice. This will allow the rice to cook through absorption, adding broth gradually as it is absorbed.
6. Once the rice is cooked, you can start plating. Arrange the rice on a flat plate and place a chicken thigh on top. Then, using a spoon, scoop out the chicken drippings and use them as a garnish.
