- Dark chocolate230 g

- Brown sugar100 g
- Granulated sugar100 g

- Vanilla essence1 u

Procedure
0. To make the American Cookies, start by taking a medium-sized bowl. Beat the softened butter and the two types of sugar together until fluffy.
1. Once the butter and sugar have been whipped, add the vanilla extract and the egg, then continue whipping until everything is incorporated.
2. Add the baking soda, pinch of salt, and sifted flour. Mix until smooth.
3. Pour all the chocolate chips into the batter, stirring constantly with a spoon to fully incorporate them. The resulting mixture will be thick.
4. Preheat the oven to 160°C (320°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Then, take the dough and shape it into balls (about 4 cm in diameter). Place them on the baking sheet, spacing them well apart.
5. Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C (320°F) for about 20 minutes, checking regularly (the edges of the cookies should be golden brown). If you're making more than one batch, keep the dough in the refrigerator until ready to bake. Remove from the oven and let cool, then serve.
