Il Fatteh è un piatto che combina diverse consistenze e sapori, con la cremosità delle melanzane e yogurt, il sapore speziato della carne, la freschezza della menta e la croccantezza del pane pita. Ingredients
- Beef stew300 g
- Greek yogurt 0%240 g
- Tahini30 g
- Extra virgin olive oil4 tablespoons
- Eggplants2 u (500 g)
- Coriander1 teaspoon
- Cumin1 teaspoon
- Garlic1 clove
- Golden onion1 u (150 g)
- Fine saltto taste
- Lemonto taste
- Fresh mintto taste
- Black pepperto taste
Procedure
0. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Cut the eggplant in half and score the flesh with a knife. Brush with a little olive oil and sprinkle with salt. Arrange the eggplant on a baking sheet and bake for about 30-40 minutes, until soft and cooked through.
1. Once cooked, let them cool slightly, then scoop out the pulp with a spoon and place it in a bowl. Mash the eggplant pulp with a fork and mix with the Greek yogurt, tahini, minced garlic, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt. Set aside.
2. In a nonstick pan, heat the olive oil and add the chopped onion, sautéing until golden. Add the diced meat and sauté over medium-high heat until cooked through.
3. Add the cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper, and continue cooking for a few minutes, stirring to evenly distribute the spices. Remove from the heat and set aside.
4. Spread the eggplant and yogurt cream on a serving platter or deep bowl. Arrange the cooked meat on top. Garnish with pomegranate seeds and fresh mint leaves. Serve with toasted pita bread.
