Questo guacamole è perfetto come antipasto, per un aperitivo, o come contorno per piatti messicani. Buon appetito!
Ingredients
- Red onion35 g
- Avocado2 u (600 g)
- Cluster tomato1 u (200 g)
- Garlic1 clove
- Lime1 u (50 g)
- Chili pepperto taste
- Black pepperto taste
- Fine saltto taste
- Corianderto taste
Procedure
0. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the pulp with a spoon. Place the avocado pulp in a bowl and mash it with a fork. If you prefer a creamier guacamole, mash it more; if you prefer a more rustic guacamole, leave a few larger pieces.
1. Add the chopped red onion, diced tomato (if using), chopped jalapeño (if using), cilantro, and minced garlic clove (if using) to the bowl.

2. Squeeze lime juice over the mashed avocado. Lime not only adds flavor, but also helps prevent the avocado from oxidizing, keeping the guacamole a beautiful bright green. Mix all the ingredients well.
3. Add salt and pepper to taste. Stir and taste to see if more lime, salt, or pepper is needed. If the guacamole seems too thick, you can add a little more lime to loosen the consistency.

4. Serve immediately with tortillas, nachos, or as a side dish for other dishes. If storing, cover the guacamole with plastic wrap, keeping it in direct contact with the surface to prevent oxidation, and refrigerate for up to 1 day.
