  • 1. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large, deep skillet. Add the whole garlic and chili pepper, sautéing for a minute. Add the broccoli rabe to the pan, season with salt, and cook over medium-high heat for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until soft but still slightly crunchy.
  • 2. Remove the garlic and move the turnip greens to one side of the pan.
  • 3. In the same pan, remove the broccoli rabe and add the chicken pieces. Drizzle with oil if needed. Cook the chicken over medium-high heat, browning it on all sides (about 6-8 minutes). Cover if necessary to allow it to cook thoroughly.
  • 4. Once the chicken is cooked, add the honey (if using) and stir quickly to create a light glaze, which will bind with the lemon and ginger.
  • 5. Toss the broccoli rabe with the chicken directly in the pan, or arrange them separately on a plate. Serve hot with a lemon wedge for garnish.
