I tortini di patate sono una deliziosa combinazione di morbida purea di patate e una croccante crosticina esterna.   • 0. Peel and cut the potatoes into chunks. Cook them in boiling salted water until tender (about 15-20 minutes). Drain and mash the potatoes until smooth.
  • 1. Add the butter, milk, egg, grated cheese, nutmeg, salt, and pepper to the mashed potatoes. Mix well until all the ingredients are combined.
  • 2. Preheat the air fryer to 180°C for 5 minutes. Lightly grease muffin tins with cooking spray and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Fill the tins with the potato mixture and press firmly. Sprinkle the tops of the muffins with more breadcrumbs and, if desired, a drizzle of oil for extra crispiness.
  • 3. Place the molds in the air fryer and cook at 180°C for about 15-18 minutes, until the cakes are golden brown and crispy on top. Check for doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center: it should come out clean.
  • 4. Let the cakes cool slightly before removing them from the molds. Serve hot, perhaps accompanied by a light sauce or a fresh salad.
