  • 0. In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add the tofu and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 5 to 7 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  • 1. In the same pan, add a little oil if needed and add the minced garlic cloves and grated ginger. Cook for about a minute, until fragrant. Add the broccoli to the pan and cook for about 5-7 minutes, until tender but still crunchy.
  • 2. Add the golden tofu to the skillet with the broccoli and season with the soy sauce. Stir well to distribute the sauce evenly and heat the tofu. Taste and adjust the salt and pepper to taste. Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with toasted sesame seeds, if desired.
  • 3. To make a white vegan cream, in a large pot, combine the potatoes and onion with the vegetable stock. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and let simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are soft.
  • 4. Meanwhile, heat the olive oil in a small skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for a couple of minutes, until golden. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • 5. Once the potatoes are soft, transfer the mixture to the bowl of an immersion blender. Add the almond milk and golden garlic (including the oil) to the blender.
  • 6. Serve the warm white vegan cream as a base for sautéed broccoli and tofu for a delicious and comforting meal. Enjoy!
