  • 0. Wash the asparagus thoroughly and trim off the tough ends. Place the asparagus in the Thermomix basket.
  • 1. Pour 500 ml of water into the Thermomix bowl. Insert the basket containing the asparagus into the bowl. Cook on Varoma, speed 1 for 15-20 minutes, or until the asparagus is tender but still crunchy. Once cooked, remove the asparagus from the basket and let it cool slightly.
  • 2. Take one or two slices of cooked ham and place one or two slices of cheese on top. Place 3-4 asparagus spears in the center of the slice of cheese and ham. Wrap the ham and cheese around the asparagus to form a roulade. Repeat with the remaining ingredients.
  • 3. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Arrange the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle with a little grated Parmigiano Reggiano, if desired. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and the prosciutto is lightly browned.
