Ingredients
- Butter175 g
- Granulated sugar175 g
- Type 00 flour175 g
- Jam125 g
- Baking powder8 g
- Eggs3 u (180 g)
- Powdered sugarto taste
- Fine saltto taste
Procedure
0. Start by preheating the oven to 180°C and buttering a 20cm diameter baking pan.
1. Mix the butter and sugar until creamy. Add the eggs, one at a time. Sift the flour, salt, and baking powder. Continue incorporating the ingredients with a spatula. Pour the mixture into the pan.
2. Bake for about 25-30 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Remove the cake from the pan and cut it in half using a serrated knife. Fill the cake with jam and dust the top with powdered sugar!
